Take the guesswork out of the equation and begin your journey with this four-week series where you will learn the basic tenets of yoga in a way that is easy to understand, relatable, fun, and useful on and off the mat. By joining Yoga Foundations, you will be guided through informational discussions and practices focused on the basics of yoga. Perfect for the beginner as well as the yogi looking to deepen their practice.

Yoga Foundations students can expect to learn:
 

  • The history and origins of yoga and its impact on the modern practice 

  • Philosophical concepts and schools of thought that support well-being on and off the mat

  • Meditation, breathing techniques, and the subtle energetics of yoga

  • How to practice yoga poses based on physical structure, needs, and intention

Yoga Foundations was an outstanding 4 part course! Kelly is an expert in her field. Throughout this course she dove into the principals of yoga, why it’s practiced by many, and also lead us into the proper form of several popular yoga poses. Kelly is an excellent teacher and is a very knowledgeable resource for anyone from beginners to more advanced. I have been practicing yoga for about a year now and I learned many things that will benefit my practice! Kelly enjoys leading structured classes that not only inform, but also reveal. As you learn about the yoga practice, you will learn about yourself. Kelly has been teaching since 2019 when she graduated from OmBodies Yoga & Functional Wellness, she has over 1000 hours of teaching experience and more than 500 hours of training, and Kelly holds the designation of an experienced registered 200-hour yoga teacher (E-RYT 200) and Continuing Education Provider with Yoga Alliance.
